A gathering for women in the Pikes Peak Region. We will be offering a screening of the documentary City of Joy followed by discussion and Drum Circle. The documentary is the story of the profound resilience of the human spirit, City of Joy witnesses Congolese women’s fierce will to reclaim hope, even when so much of what was meaningful to them has been stripped away. Please note that the film contains stories about sexual assault, rape and sexual and physical torture that may not be suitable for children.
